As you may have been aware, in the past few months news of coronavirus, COVID-19, outbreak from China has been rampant. Orange County recently declared a local health emergency in response to this coronavirus. This emergency declaration came after one confirmed case of the virus in Orange County and Orange County officials are taking extra precaution to ensure the county is prepared to respond should an outbreak occur.

At Regenerative Medical Group (RMG), we offer an Intravenous (IV) therapy that helps to boost the immune system, which may then prevent diseases and illnesses. The Immune Boost IV is recommended to strengthen your immune system and works by delivering nutrients directly to your bloodstream to improve your health and reduce inflammation. Peptide therapies are also offered at our office and this therapy helps stimulate cellular regrowth and support immune cells. Peptides are made up of short amino acid chains (proteins) and they facilitate body responses and actions.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
-Stay at home when you are sick.
-Cover your coughs and/or sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
-Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
-Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
-If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
